NORCROSS, Ga. — The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has added NAC International’s MAGNASTOR System to its list of approved spent fuel storage casks in Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 72.214, finalizing the NRC rulemaking process to amend the list of approved cask systems. The notice of this new rule was published in the Federal Register, Volume 74, Number 22, of February 4, 2009.
